ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- helping patients with basic needs
- maintain the patient’s company by keeping an eye on any changes in the patient’s physical, emotional or mental state
- communicate patient status, including changes, periodically to nurse
- carry out or help out the daily washing of the immobilized patient, respecting the rules of hygiene
- prepare and assist the patient for walking, and help those who need assistance to move
- perform other related tasks at the request of the nurse or doctor, for the proper execution of the medical act, as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- hold a beneficiary attendant diploma
- PDSB (Principles for the safe movement of beneficiaries)
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
